At Luxury Pool Tables we specialise in offering high-quality pool dining tables and therefore, have to supply a set of dining tops with these pool diners. This blog is dedicated to show you all of the dining top options that we can offer, as well as some other additional tops that we can supply.
That being said, it is not a simple case of just putting some dining tops on a pool table and calling it a ‘pool dining table’ as there are other key factors to think about like height, leg room etc. which we have taken into consideration when creating these pool diners.
When you come to the end of this blog, if you have any further questions on our dining tops or any of poor high-quality pool tables, then please do get in contact and we’ll be happy to help.
Dining Top Options
As standard, we have two options for our dining tops, those being a clear glass dining top or a matching oak veneered dining top. Please find some example images below to show you both options, and it is worth noting that they are the same price of £400.
We have found that the clear glass dining tops are a good option for those that are wanting to show off their pool dining table or have a bespoke cloth with a logo/design on it that they would like to show. Whereas, with the matching oak veneered dining tops these are ideal for wanting to disguise the fact that it is a pool dining table, to make it look like a normal dining table and then can surprise visitors with the pool aspect! Both tops are a great option and if you have any further questions on them, then please let us know.
On the oak veneered dining tops, there is also an option to have a leaf extension supplied to give you slightly more room when the table is being used for dining. Again, please refer to the image below to show you this extension in situ. This extension is a definitely something to think about if you regularly have lots of people over for diner as it will give you that extra space to make the dining experience as comfortable as possible for lots of people on the one table.

The glass dining tops are perfectly exampled above on our Slimline Pool Diner that has a metallic finish frame.
Outdoor Pool Table Dining Top Options
Our Outdoor Pool Table is the only range that we will supply you with a set of dining tops included in the price, even if you weren’t necessarily thinking of using the table as a pool diner. This is because the dining tops on the Outdoor table help with the upkeep of the table, as they prevent water pooling in the centre of the waterproof cover that is also included as standard. The waterproof cover that we will supply you with is made specially for us by a sailmakers down in Cornwall, and so this is a top-end cover to help look after your Outdoor Pool Table, and the dining tops just help prevent puddles forming on the cover when it rains.
There are two options for the dining tops on our Outdoor table, those being the usual clear glass dining tops and then a high pressure laminate (HPL) top. Please find the images below to show you both options, and there is no additional cost for either option that you choose. Please note that the HPL tops only come in the one colour shown below, they are not made to match the wood colours.
Additional tops/usages
Our pool dining tables don’t necessarily need to just be used for dining, we do also have some other options to gain further use from your pool diner. The first option is our table tennis tops, these are a separate top to the dining tops but work in a very similar way. They come in two separate sections and have 3 blocks underneath each top which fit against the cushion of your table to ensure that the top doesn’t move whilst being used. Each half is simply lifted on top of the pool table when you want to play table tennis, then removed and stored safely nearby when you want to play pool or dine. The table tennis tops are available in 3 sizes, those being Small (244cm x 130cm), Standard (276cm x 153cm) and Oversized (286cm x 158cm). These tops are a great way to gain multi-use from the one pool table to gain the best use for the space that the table will be located.
The other possibility with our dining tops is to have a poker/cards cloth on the reverse side of the matching oak veneered dining top. This is a great option to have with your dining tops if you are interested in the occasional cards night as you can have the tops set up normally for dining, and then simply flip them over to use the cards cloth. The cloth is available in 4 different colours, those being black, green, red or blue.
Dining Tops for non-pool dining tables
As well as high-quality pool dining tables, we do also offer stand alone pool tables that due to having thicker frames, do not make comfortable pool dining tables. That being said, these tables can be supplied with a set of dining tops to use them as a serving table for a get-together or even to just help protect the table. Please find the image below to show you our Rustic Pool Table range with the matching veneered dining tops. It is worth noting that with the table ranges that have curved corners (like the Rustic shown below), then the dining tops will slightly overhang over the pockets/corners.
As mentioned, we definitely do not recommend using these tables as a dining table as there just isn’t enough room for your legs, but they can be used to put food and drinks on to gain an extra use out of the table.
We hope you found this blog detailing our Dining Top Options helpful, and if you have any questions regarding any of our Luxury Pool Dining Tables or stand alone Luxury Pool Tables, then please do get in contact using the details below and we’ll be more than happy to help.
